Thank you to all of the parents who came along and supported the team - it was great to see you there.

Well we have finally made it to the end of the Keskowethyans X-Country League. It has been a long, yet super season. Amazing attitudes, sensational sportsmanship and desperate determination have been displayed over the 5 events. It was great to see 27 runners at St. Keverne!

Special thanks to the parents, who have marshalled, collected scores, transported and cheered the children on to make the league a success.

Congratulations to all of the children who have taken part.

24th February 2017
A huge well done to all our KS2 football players who took part in the Keskowethyans competition at Grade Ruan last Friday and won.
An excellent display of both skill and sportsmanship from all the teams.  Many other schools were commenting on the fantastic attitude of our players, lending kit without question and also helping out other teams.
We are now attending the Cluster event  which was due to take place at Mullion on Wednesday 1st March however was postponed due to the weather—we will let you know when we have a new date.

21st February 2017

What a miserable day it was for our 4th Cross Country, but it was fantastic to see so many of you turn up to run!  We started off with a Key Stage 1 fun run. The children did so well with lots of support from the older children and adults.

24 Key stage 2 pupils took part in the Keskowethyans league. The support and encouragement was a real pleasure to see. A huge thank you to the parents for your wonderful marshalling skills and to Louise for being a super photographer and guarding the muddy patch!

Many children will receive endurance medals for completing 4 or more races.  Other medals will also be given to Year group winners!

At the moment, Grade Ruan is leading the way for most points and Coverack is leading the weighted table, which takes the school numbers into account.  Your schools have detailed results from all races.

Look forward to seeing you for our FINAL race on Tuesday 14th March at St. Keverne football field next to the school.  Many thanks, Lorraine Brown

A massive well done to Rose, Lilly, Bella, Bethany, Jamie, Ashton, Andreas, Lucas, Thalia, Ellen, Lowan, Joe & Richard for continuing to represent Grade-Ruan brilliantly and running so well.

A big well done to Thomas, Isla, David, Joe, Billy and Elliot for taking part in the KS1 fun run, it was lovely to see so many of you there and all having such a good time.

At the moment, Grade Ruan is leading the way for most points so well done to all, let’s keep up the good work and hopefully see lots of you at the final session on the 14th March at St.Keverne— see you all there!!!

6th February 2017
On Monday 6th February Reception and KS1 children travelled by mini-bus to Mullion Gym to participate in a Keskowethyan fun gym afternoon! The children took part in a carousel of gymnastic skills activities alongside their peers from St. Keverne, Manaccan, Coverack and St. Martin. It was great to practice new skills and mix with the other children, but of course; jumping into the foam pit was the best part!
RACE 3 held at Manaccan on 24th January 2017
Well done to the 19 runners who took part in our 3rd Keskowethyans X country race to start off 2017.
It was so lovely to see so many smiling faces despite the chilly breeze. You showed great determination and it looks like there will be quite a few endurance medals for those children who have run 4 or more races. It also looks like there may be children who are aiming to win all of their races!
The league tables have been sent to your schools, so you can see where you and your school stand.
Thank you once again, to  parents, grandparents and staff for your continued support. It is so lovely to hear so many positive comments!
Our next race will take part at Grade Ruan rec ground at the end of February. This will also include a KS1 fun run.
A letter will be sent out closer to the time.  Mrs Brown
