The whole school observed, with impeccable behaviour, the two minutes silence at the War Memorial.
We celebrated Harvest Festival with a service in the Church led by Rev Deidre. The children sang a range of songs with great gusto and gave thanks for the many kinds of gifts of food which were donated for the Helston and Lizard Foodbank.
Grade Ruan Autumn Horticultural Show
The talent and hard work of our amazing children was displayed for the village to enjoy at the annual Grade Ruan Autumn Horticultural Show. Many children won prized for their art and craft entries and beautiful handwriting.
The Johno Cup for the Best Exhibit in the school section was won by Bella in Year 6 with a stunning pastel drawing of a pumpkin.
Our Easter Service was held in Church and included a tale of hope and encouragement about three trees growing on a mountain top. They have big dreams of what they want to become but one by one those hopes are dashed as they are chopped down, but God has a plan, an amazing plan for each tree - a plan that goes beyond their wildest dreams!
