Standards

In May each year, the Statutory Assessment Tests (SATs) take place for Year 2 and Year 6 children, with years 3, 4 and 5 taking optional SATs tests and teacher assessment taking place in the summer term.  These results are made available to parents in their child’s end of year report.

Children in the Reception Class are assessed through the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile.

All details of individual pupils’ test results and assessments are sent out with the end of term reports.  There is usually the opportunity to discuss results or any other issues highlighted by the reports before the end of term.
