Yes, it was probably one of the wettest camps on record, if not, the wettest - however, I am pleased to report that it would take a lot more than a bit of rain to dampen to spirits of a Keskowethyans’ Camper!
It was a brilliant residential; all of the planned activities went ahead regardless of the Cornish weather and every single camper showed determination, kindness and an excellent team spirit.
Huge thanks to everyone, children and adults alike, you all contributed to making camp a wonderful, positive, and no doubt memorable, experience!
We would also like to send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Richard Marsden from Grade-Ruan and Jack Carey from Coverack. Richard was unable to attend camp at the very last minute because he contracted chickpox and Jack had a very unlucky slip whilst at camp and broke his arm. Both boys were really missed and we are all looking forward to seeing them back at school soon.
Did your child bring home a Navy Blue pack a mac style coat by mistake?
